TLXOS 4.8.3 LTS (release notes: https://help.thinlinx.com/knowledgebase.php?article=77) will be the last LTS release based on Debian/Raspbian 8 (Jessie), as Jessie has become unsupportably old. The next LTS release will be a continuation of releases based on Debian 10 (Buster) - probably version 4.10.2. FreeRDP, Horizon Client and Workspace App versions will be adjusted to a new baseline, yet to be determined, based on proven reliability and interoperability for LTS customer needs. This almost certainly means that PCoIP will no longer be supported for Horizon mode in future RPi LTS releases, as Horizon Client 4.5.0 is now much too old. Anticipating the above, and considering ongoing problems resulting from Raspbian's failure to archive contents of their Jessie release, we have included RPi IoT in the latest progressive release (4.10.1; release notes: https://help.thinlinx.com/knowledgebase.php?article=74). This is a one-off event, and we do not intend to support RPi IoT in 5.0.0 or any future progressive releases, as we have too few sales for this edition to justify the effort. The next progressive release of TLXOS (5.0.0) will be based on Debian 11 (Bullseye). TLXOS SFF (a.k.a. NUC32/NUC64) will no longer be supported in this release, and TLXOS RePC will drop support for 32-bit-only devices and change to a 64-bit userspace. Customers with TLXOS SFF licenses will be able to upgrade TLXOS SFF 4.x to TLXOS RePC 5.0.0. We will continue to support 32-bit-only x86 devices in TLXOS RePC LTS (4.x) releases.
