ViewSonic Device Manager (VDM) 3.0 was a rebadged version of ThinLinX Management Software (TMS) for use with a license-free variant of TLXOS RPi (ViewSonic Thinclient Operating System (VTOS)). VDM 3.0 used a different default port number than TMS (5808 rather than 8505) and required a different client handshake such that it could not be used with tms_client (only vdm_client).
